The following information is provided in order to comply with the requirements of the School Admission Appeals Code 2012

National Offer Day

Monday 2nd March 2020

Deadline for return of forms if appealing

Monday 30th March 2020

Appeals planned to start

Monday 1st June 2020

Appeals planned to finish

Friday 5th June 2020

If, after national offer day, you have been declined a place at Rushcliffe School for September 2020 and wish to appeal this decision, please call or email the school office to request an appeals form.

All parents who appeal will be invited to attend a stage 1 of the appeals process where the Principal will present the case for the admission authority for refusing admission. Parents will also be offered an individual stage 2 appointment with the panel to put their appeal forward which will be sent by the Independent Clerk at least 10 days before the date of the hearing.

The Rushcliffe Family of Schools

The Rushcliffe Family of Schools consists of one secondary, five primary and one infant school. We work in close partnership to ensure the best possible continuity for the children in our local community.

The Family of Schools are:

Rushcliffe School – the one secondary school in the family. It is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive academy offering up to 270 places in each year. Children who permanently reside in the catchment are prioritised for these places.

Edwalton Primary School, Edwalton
Lady Bay Junior School, West Bridgford
St Peter's Junior School, Ruddington
Pierrepont Gamston School, Gamston

Infant School:

James Peacock Infant School, Ruddington
