On the national offer day (1st March 2018), should you be unsuccessful in being offered a place at Rushcliffe School, you have the right to appeal against this decision to an independent appeals panel.

Parents wishing to lodge an appeal, please obtain an appeal form from the school. Please contact the school on (0115) 974 4050 or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and return this to the address shown on the form by Thursday 29 March 2018, which is the deadline for on-time appeals.

For applications made as part of the normal admissions round, our appeals will be held between Thursday 7 June 2018 - Friday 15 June 2018. All parents will be invited to attend stage 1 of the appeals process where the Headteacher will present the case for the admission authority for refusing admission. Parents will also be offered an individual appointment with the panel to put their appeal forward.

Any appeals that are received after the deadline of Thursday 29 March 2018 will be heard on the above dates wherever possible and in any case within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.

The deadline for sending additional information to the admission appeal clerk is Friday 20 April 2018. Any information provided after this date may not be accepted by the independent panel.

You will be notified of the time and date of your appeal at least 10 days before the hearing.

The clerk will write to you within five working days of the last day of the appeals with the outcome of your appeal.
