Our aim is also to ensure that 'many pupils will have a meaningful work experience before they leave Rushcliffe School'. In practice that means a week of targeted work experience in January of Year 11 for those who may not stay on to post-16 study; for those who do stay on to the Sixth Form, a week of career-path focused work experience takes place in the summer of Year 12.
Rushcliffe works closely with the world of business and academia to ensure the best possible future for our students, and we rigorously track destination data to ensure they 'make it'.
In Moodle you will find a section called Careers Resources where you will find information to help you with options and careers choices at all stages of your schooling. There is also a section called Sixth Form, and in this section you will find resources specifically aimed at years 12 and 13 to help with university and careers decisions.
You can also get up-to-date information as it is sent to the school by finding us on Facebook (RushcliffeSchoolCareers) and this links into a Twitter feed at @RushcliffeC. Please follow these feeds, especially if you are in years 11, 12 or 13.
You can contact the careers Adviser at Rushcliffe School via our Contact Us page.
