Geography
Why does Geography Matter?
"Geography is the subject which holds the key to our future" - Michael Palin,
Geography is an all encompassing discipline that seeks to understand the world, its human and physical features, through an understanding of place and location. It is part of everyday life and covers areas such as; world weather and global warming; multinational companies and differences in development; population movements and urban change; maps and holidays; coasts and rivers. Understanding these things is what Geography is all about. Geography looks at all scales from local through to national and global.
