About the School
Rushcliffe School provides an extremely high quality education in a stimulating, secure and supportive environment. There are numerous opportunities for students to achieve success and, in particular, to ‘shine brightly’.
Rushcliffe is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school on the south side of Nottingham positioned in an attractive setting adjacent to open countryside and farmland. It was founded in September 1969 as a result of the amalgamation of the Rushcliffe Boys' and Girls' Technical Grammar Schools.
The school serves the surrounding environs of West Bridgford, Lady Bay, Edwalton, Gamston and Ruddington with 1500 pupils currently on roll, including 170 students in the Sixth Form. The school is heavily oversubscribed.
Rushcliffe School is highly regarded within the local community and most recently achieved World Class Status.
