Real Homework Projects

REAL Homework Projects (Rushcliffe Extended and Advanced Learning) aim to make homework a fun, manageable and enriching part of the curriculum, where pupils spend extended periods creating, learning and enjoying the tasks. They are larger projects that last one month, and ask the pupils to dig deeper and let their creativity and knowledge shine brightly.

Four times throughout the year, Years 7 & 8 will undertake one of these REAL Homework Projects. .Each faculty is responsible for setting one project, and assessing the pupils’ work at the end of the month.

Normal homework routines continue in other subjects, but pupils will not receive additional homework from the faculty setting the homework.
