Examinations Officer

Grade NJE Grade 5 (point range 24-28)

Hours 37 hours per week term time only plus two weeks

The building of a new Sixth Form Centre has just commenced and this will open in September 2015.
We have an immediate vacancy within our Data and Examinations Team for an enthusiastic, flexible and conscientious professional person who will be responsible for the administration and smooth running of the school's examinations and ensure the accurate analysis of examination data.

The role requires an organised and methodical approach and close attention to detail. The successful candidate will be liaising on a daily basis with teachers, students and parents and well developed interpersonal skills will be required.

The successful applicant will be a team player with the ability to deal with a large workload whilst maintaining consistently high standards.

Strong IT skills are essential as is a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience of SIMS.

Midday Supervisor

Hours: 12.20pm to 1.20pm each day term time only

Do you enjoy working with children? We have a vacancy for a reliable, child-centred Midday Supervisor to join our successful team who supervise pupils during the lunch period.

Required as soon as possible.

Duties include

Working as part of a team to ensure that all pupils are supervised in the dining areas and all areas of the school grounds.
Ensuring that the overall arrangement for pupils to dine promotes a pleasant meals service and that queues in the dining areas are orderly.

Dealing with any spillages, supervising clearing of the tables by the pupils and ensuring the dining areas are kept clean and tidy.

Walking around the school site to ensure that pupils are safe during the lunch break and that acceptable standards of behaviour are maintained.

We welcome applications from people who are well organised, conscientious and caring with good behaviour management skills. Experience is not essential as training can be given. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team.
